The only 2 episodes of HLOTS I have seen are the ones which Vincent & Kathryn Erbe guest starred in. Both were outstanding performances from terrific actors (as was their 8 years on Criminal Intent). Vincent episode, 'Subway' was incredibly moving, and he showed yet again why he is such a talented actor.

HLOTS is still one of the best shows that has ever been on TV. NBC did a crappy job promoting it, and then canceled it with little notice to fans. The stupidity of TV bosses never ends.

Oddly enough I was watching Taxi Cab Confessions and this incident of people falling and getting trapped by the subway car is quite common which it terrible.

Have they ever thought of putting safety rails up.

I can't imagine being told that within a few minutes I would die.

That's the EXACT same way I found out about this episode (taxicab), by the cop/em. rescue guy telling is story... And I thought about the safety rails idea while watching the show, it's cool to see someone thinking! Above all, thinking similar thoughts!

Subway episode from Homicide Life on The Streets was made August 1997, the interview was broadcast 1998, but took place as you can see on the set. [VDO is gorgeous!] agree with that statement.

This was a great segment, I really wish I could see this episode, I'll have to check the listings often. I don't know if they're showing this now though. Thanks for posting it. It's also a great look at the BTS of a show and the rush and choices they have to make.

No unfortunately I don't think it is it is only available on REgion 1 DVD, the one I have was done by a friend of mine when it came on TV down her way-good interview though isn't it?

I am sorry that it isn't available for british costumers, it would be okay if your player can play REgion 1 disks though-other than that thanks for watching it-ye she is good and I like to see him in a good interview.
