Yeah, sixteen player online. No coop, but it has stock maps and a map editor to create your own worlds.

To be honest man, the game isn't out yet. However, (and this is just my assumption) since it is an open world game, with so much stuff to do, I highly doubt the game will end right at the last mission, so yes I think you will be able to wander long after you "beat the game".
