I can vouch. I've worked with MacMedics quite a few times. These are an honest bunch of guys that often offer assistance at no cost and who do know thier stuff. I can see why someone would think it is fake based on the lighting but these guys have no reason to fabricate stuff like this. Not to mention, I've smashed my iPhone REAL bad - twice - and can see how this could happen. All it takes a concrete floor and there is no telling how the glass will - or will not - fracture.

Actually, it's real. When Its turned to the side you can see the multi-faceited shine of the glass. If an app can do that, than can I say 3 f'n D!!! Also, apps only cover the center of the screen ( where u touch and see stuff), not the whole damn faceplate. Obvious that ppl don't pay attention. 

Because #1 the home button is made of plastic and has less tendency towards cracking than glass and #2 the Home button will retreat into the phone when pressure is applied to it, the glass has no spring behind it it just flexes and cracks .
