Dear Friend Bulx, Pl listen to Gopichandana kuriyaninju from Football Champion (again Swami-Yesudas-Sreekumaran Thampi-Nazir combination where Nadaswaram and Thavil are used through out . Gem of a song !!!

Thnx for the song link. Lovely song! You would notice that the thavil-nadaswaran never plays _along_ with the lyrics, (unlike here from 3:00 to 3:18), which I think is a dakshinamoorthy innovation.
