@johnnysasaki the japanese voice of samansosuke is better because japanese actor takeshi kaneshiro loan samanosuke his face + his voice. and I think for non-english countrys they could have used the japanese voices. because it sounds strange to hear feudal japanese people speaking english without any accent... the french speaking is also including in the all versions. so why no japanese?

that's because he's actually speaking in Japanese.

The Japanese version of the game(if you play the PC version,you can actually choose the language)has all the Japanese characters speaking in Japanese the whole time,and all the non-Japanese speak in Japanese when Ako is around,they just dubbed into English(which is actually well done,I mean,Samanosuke has Travis' voice from No More Heroes,how can that not be awesome?)

Great videos. I love the game- even to this day, despite it's age. Great combat, fantastic story and music. The graphics are beautiful. The locations are stunning- after visiting Paris multiple times, I can assure you, the Arc and its interior are near perfectly recreated in this game.

Entertaining videos of an entertaining game. Great job!

BTW, the enemies are called Genma. Just so you know. Each magical blade has it's own magic gauge... it's not shared. You become "Sephiroth" by absorbing Big Purple souls.

Those flashes are Criticals. Hitting guard at the right time, then attacking immediately after.

or

Attacking them right before their blows lands.

or

Strafe and attack at right time.

That's what the training thing is for in the mirrors. Those are training sessions. Try them when you're not recoding. Can get some good items by completing them.

w00t! Beat it, as well as got the special weapons.

If you want the 3 swords that Samanosuke starts with in the temple, you need to go through the dark realms and get the orbs.

Realms are:

Undersea Temple- Left of the door with a red blob on it. Both Jean (Can't spell the ingame name) and Samanosuke.

Mont Saint Michel:

Left door on the stairs that raise.

Jean. Samanosuke can do it too, but I can't remember what the reward is.

To get the uber weapons:

Honnoji Dark Realm.

Getting all the special weapons doesn't sound too easy, but I'll have to see when I get to them.. IF I get to them rather xD

Well, Uber Weapons are super difficult to get.

However, the first three aren't that hard. Especially if you have Ako's White Vest.

And you can't use them this playthru, but the alleyway that Samanosuke starts in in Paris will have 3 orbs on the ground.
