Rock Band 3's got the pro drums feature, where you do play with cymbals and toms, with cymbals being on a higher level than the toms. The notes are even visibly differentiated. Have fun. =P

Go back and forth between red and green/blue really fast with the right hand. It's pretty hard at first and you'll just be flailing all over the place, so practice it slowly and it'll get better.

Ok guitar hero 4 is gonna be great!! Rockband is good too. I have that right now, but in the future is has to go to GH4 there is going to be a music studio and better drums. One thing though, the guitr hero drums you can't use for RB2 but rockband lets you use their drums with GH4 like it's saying i'm sorry.... Before rock band was even released these 2 companies were together and they had ideas (together) to make drums and stuff. They split up and they got it first but GH was perfecting it

If they dont change the guitar, the game will lose all purpose in having the guitar at all, because the GH guitars are unanamously considered better... plus they HAVE to make improvements to the hammer-ons because they are just terrible... Face it, the only thing GH was beat by was the diff instruments, and GH has taken that away, so RB is essentially screwed, relying ONLY on the large number of songs to save them, and despite the fact that they have them this game fails

Ya, $60 for the GAME. The equipment is guna be a couble hundred extra with worthless features like a double bass... double bass? ya, theres a point when you start taking things a bit too seriously... IDC about the DLC, because it will just overwhelm us all anyway, making me feel like i need to play ALL of it, plus i doubt much of it will be free, so taking large chunks out of my paycheck is not what i'd call a "good" feature

and the whole double bass thing, lots of songs have fast bass drum taken out, because one just doesnt cut it. therefore its a good thing. obviously you play guitar vertically (up to down) if you have trouble with overdrive. gh's never even works for me. i put it in the air, after holding horizontally (which is left to right btw, in case you are that stupid) and it doesnt do shit. besides, frets in gh are harder to push in, and sliding up and down on them is near impossible
