in 1914 there were around 1.000.000 armenians lived in Ottoman Empire which is proved by european , american and Turkish historical researchs except armenian diaspora, when the war started most of them migrated to america, europe, and The Caucaus. soo where the hell is this 1,5 million armenian coming from??? yes alot of armenians killed by Turkish army during the war cuz those people were killing the Turkish people in their homeland.
