Ok, i don't live in America, I haven't even been over there, but I can't help but love its history and the story behind the constitution and what America was supposed to stand for. That story inspires me today and forces me to understand what makes the whole system tick. The Government (constitution or no constitution) works for WE THE PEOPLE, and im sorry but if 250 million people don't like whats going on and cant march up those steps and throw Paul up there then i fear not just for America...

Government doesn't creat jobs, the private sector does. Raise taxes, less jobs. Lower taxes, more jobs. But liberals are too stupid to know this, or they don't care.

If government creates jobs via fiscal stimulus (taxpayer funded,) jobs are created but jobs in the private sector are eliminated by the tax increases. Usually it amounts to a net loss of jobs and economic stagflation.

If government creates jobs via monetary expansion by the Federal Reserve, you get the creation of what I call bubble jobs. They live and die with the bubble and are unsustainable like bubbles are. They are temporary. The monetary expansion of the 2000s decade more than doubled unemployment in the end. They can bring about economic depression, or even possibly, inflationary depression.

With taxes that high, most people couldn't afford to open new business, existing business couldn't afford to expand, and put many small business's out of business.

However I do agree that tax cuts stimulate the economy.  What we need though are tax cuts across the board, in every income class especially the middle class which accounts for most of our nation's consumption.

Letting people spend the money works. Letting government spend it doesn't.

If you think that tax cuts are going to revive the economy when consumer confidence is at an all-time low, you're a moron (and a Republican). Money needs to be spent in a way that directly creates jobs and helps to build and support our infrastructure, education system, and drive down healthcare costs. Anyone with a high school education should understand such basic principles of economics. Perhaps you spent too much time reading the Bible and not enough time developing a real intellect.

Yeah, jeffreytrochelman!! Lets pay people to dig a ditch and then fill it back in all in the name of infrastucture and "job" creation. That is NOT a job but a work program. A job would be to pay someone to make the shovels that are used to dig the ditch and then SELL them thus creating a cash flow and taxable income. Ron Paul has warned us over and over but the fact is the Federal Reserve does not give a hoot what happens to the American people. Perhaps they are just lining their pockets, giving the bail outs to their crooked pals. Many lost jobs, etc. the Government is still having overseas troops and putting money there to expand its Middle East Agenda along with Israel. Watch and see if they get any of that bail out money.
