g5... if you think about it, it's a high note but not extremely high for chest register. but in this range, only Mariah retains the fullness of her voice. not regine. not celine. not whitney. when these singers sing in this note, they all sound the same.. thin and less powerful. other singers like celine dion usually mixes in this register, but mariah keeps it in full chest register.

Her highest note here is G5 and she did hell a lot of it. like 6 or 7 times. She's amazing. This is a song which shows her comfort zone in singing. It may not look she's comfortable with it if you'll look at her face but her voice did not break or lose control or went off key for that matter.
