I love the cockpit view in this game, sense of speed is awesome and going over bumps/curbs its cool, haven't seen it in any other racing game. NFS shift was maybe the closest to give you the feeling of actually going fast, the handling was poor though.

The dumb difficulty settings let this game down. It's impossible in the rain and the difference in AI lap times is ridiculous: Bahrain is way to easy, Hockenheim, Monza and Silverstone are way to hard. F1CE is a broken game IMO.

My gosh, loiok at those phhysics! I mean on average every Italian Grand Prix in Italy loads of cars crash. Do you know why? Because they bump over the chicane and damage the underside of the car and hit others, there, you hit others, and it's like it helped you change direction, instead of being involved in a smash, Massa just cuts that chicane without damaging anything!

Yes, CTDP is good, but the reason why we play games is because they are fun. I am extremely worried that if we play rfactor, I don't really play it on the PC, the graphics will be poor, the frame time will be like, 10 frames per minute, (exaggerated) and it won't be fun! I know the sims are better

Why would RFactor be poor, do you have a low end computer or something?.. I created my own and it simply rocks, you can't find any better.. Gtr2 is even better, but if you like this type of racing R factor is th way to go.. This game here seems to fall shot with graphics, too many things in the way of site, and bumping is just not at all real..

Maybe not but we are very lucky if Codemasters' new F1 game comes close too it. To begin with they are using the engine from GRID, which is an arcade racer. They are also aiming for a wide market (they've mentioned casual gamers and americans) so one can't hope for too much there I'm afraid.

there are mods (i have got 2007 season and it's OK). To have some fun you need a racing wheel because ok keyboard/pad it's a waste of time. And of course you should switch off all computer aid (I'm driving only with damage switched off - without this it's hard to practice;) My best times are 2-3 secs worse than computer players but it is very fun to improve your achivments.

There is also GrandPrixLegends (f1 in 1968 & it's realy hard =)

that depends on where you buy it..(country) the dutch version has christijan albers on the cover, the spanish version alonso, the german version schumacher (ofcourse). and i think germany have more than one cover layout
