  • @gamemakar1 select body keep pressing shift and right click on armature then ctrl+p then bone wheight.

  • @Roman8880 the program has some problems!

  • I made a robotic creature that has a tail on him, I set up an armature with the auto IK on to animate the tail smoother, but only the first bone (Closest to the body) will actually animate. When I try to animate the bone at the end of the tail (Where I get more control from) it ignores the keyframes that i put in and stays at the last pose that i set. Any idea why this is happening?

  • @TheWaynelds you must select all bone then inset LOCROT.

  • You cant duplicate you have to extrude each armature out of another one. Fail.

  • @flaminphoenix19 wrong! select bones is edit mode then hit shift+d!

  • @Pr3DaToR15 extruding is the better way to do it btw. enless of course your animating puppet things

  • Ok. This would be a great video but you need to narrate. I have no clue what your doing when your moving so fast and your not explaining what and why you are doing it. But great vid.   • sorry for bugging you so much man,its just that i really wanted to learn this.After viewing Ur vid so many times i found the problem.you never once added a new armature,u kept duplicating.i did that and the problem was solved.thnx honestly this is the only amarture tut that i spent time viewing its way simpler than the others on youtube,thnx man

  • I'm not getting the same results compared to the video. I have 5 bones for the spine and 2 bones for the feet. Is that the reason why?

    2.you first must select body then armature>>ctrl+p>>armature>>Bo­ne heat!

  • Bone heat seems to work well, compared to manual weighting,,, hmm whenever i try that it allways stuffs up..

    BTW thanks for the IK solver and stuff for the feet- looks good! nice and advanced. 1 thing- i used to bone with 1 main bone, usually spine, then extrude from there. is that good or your separate boneing way better>?
