  • Hey man, rly nice animation!!

Could you tell me pls how you set a text object on inflow Fluid?

    Would be nice, ty

  • @nadamefohlmeister Thanks :-)

First create a text, then use the shortcut "Alt + c" to convert it into a mesh, finally extrude this mesh to have a 3D object. Now you just have to use it as a fluid inflow ;-)

  • now i want Kool-Aid for some reason...

  • Man, this so perfect. My friend doesn't like Blender, he likes 3dmax, but I already said him to work with blender, it's much better

  • @Serj490 Thank you :-)

I never try 3dsmax but I really like Blender :-p

  • Oooooh yeeaaaah!

  • Nice work!

  • AMAZING

  • Nice stuff, but the actual speed of the fluid is incorrect

under the time options of the domain object you can adjust it there.

  • how did i get here from watching minecraft videos..

  • @xXMaDnEsSXx5469 Maybe YouTube knows that I'm a Minecraft fan :-]

  • @xXMaDnEsSXx5469 maybe you've decided not to be gay

  • Peanut Butter Jelly time!

  • Did you convert text to a mesh or was it still text when you baked?

  • @jerrysmcnuggets You have to transform the text to a mesh, because text can't interact with fluids ;)

  • Tutorial PLEASE?

  • You should of made it say "Dracula" instead! :]

  • @twobarells Or Dexter! lol You could totally work for the company that plays episodes in some kind of advertisement for Dexter series.

  • @MrJoker2wild Yeah... Haven't seen that series .___.

  • @twobarells Greaaat series check it out man, and this video text style would work both for Dracula and Dexter ;p

  • @MrJoker2wild Hmm, I've of course heard of it but I've never seen it... I'll check it out ;D

  • @twobarells Those are wo great ideas, I'll try to think about it when a found some time to make new animations :D

PS : Dexter is awesome ;)

  • @Dubik22 Haha great! :D Now that's 2 ppl telling me to see it x) That settles it ;D

  • Kool-Aid

  • mmmm cranberry juice. ;)

  • but will it blend?

  • I just got started on Blender, does anybody know where I can find some tips on the basics, cuz it`s driving me crazy ? :) (Great animation btw !) :)

  • @Draakie100 Hi, thank's :)

Just search "blender fluid simulation" on Google, you'll find a lot of tutorials, and with a little patience, not to be afraid of doing some ugly stuff at the beginning (look at my firsts videos !) and you'll do step by step better animations ;o)

  • @Dubik22 Most good things come in small steps :) (Thanks a million for the info !) Have a great Sunday.

  • @Draakie100 You're welcome :o)

Great sunday to you too, thank's !

  • @Draakie100 Take a look att super3boy here on youtube, i got started that way!

  • @Beqpe That was a GREAT tip !!! TNX !!!

  • A tutorial would be nice. :)

  • now reverse it and make in your intro!

  • now reverse it and make in yor intro!

  • @Davydov611 This is a good idea for a intro !

  • @Dubik22 you could make me one :D

  • @Joeboy007wJackg39 I haven't time to do others videos, so I can't do that for you :(

  • mmmm

  • REDRUM! REDRUM! REDRUM!

  • infinite period

  • this makes me thirsty

  • That would be epic if you could reverse the video!

  • Tutorial plssssss

  • kool aid

  • great fluid system. c4d doesn't have anything like that! :(

  • Nice work

  • @Dre420yo Thank you :)

  • mmm.... Ribena :P'

  • @julienmauricemort That makes me want to punch a fruit and drink it!

  • HOW DO YOU TURN TEXT INTO FLUID I CAN ONLY DU SOFT BODY AND HOW CUM IT LUKKS REAL

  • @GTAKID01 trollface.jpg

  • @GTAKID01 first convert the Text to Mesh (Alt c)

  • can you make a tut pls?

  • i like it .

  • Damn, 30h for a 9sec animation? Well you did use an external render. '~'

  • @BravoBlanc Yes approximately 30h, but I don't know what is an "external render" ... (maybe the french translation is wrong ?)

I left the computer rendering the night when I sleep and the day when I was in scool.

  • @Dubik22 When I look into the description, I see that you used yarafray, which I think is a render system that is outside of Blender. It is a script. Let's just say external renders aren't commonly used for animations; because they render animations like a bitch.

  • @BravoBlanc Ok, I understand =)

Yes the render time is more important with Yafaray, but I find the result more beautiful =D

  • @Dubik22 You should change the configurations of your fluid, so the fluid won't be so slow. The settings you need to change can be found on a tutorial on Blender Guru. I forgot where you need to change that :P. Nice work anyway.

  • @Crequidum Tank tou for the advice =)

But I like it slow, because we can see all the fluid details, the reflexions, the drops =o)

  • @Dubik22 It took you 30 hours to render. That's actually pretty fast. Pixar's render time is 16 hours per frame, and they use a super computer!

  • @nicdem25 You can't compare my little animations and the amasing work of Pixar =D

But this is a very interessant fact :)

    (I love Pixar)

  • Comment removed

  • @nicdem25 16 hours PER frame? You do realize that's impossible, right? If that were true, it would have taken around 800 years (literally) for 1 movie to render.

  • @boxtobrilliance I think they use more than one computer =)

  • "Render 30h"

    DAMN

  • @Harakiri82 Yes, it's the longest render I have done.

  • cool
