I actually agree with you on that.. Like I said, to me, Homosexuality is another sin. They are no worse than adulterers, thiefs and lyers.. I believe condemning sinners is worse a sin than doing the actual sin.. I don't condemn them but I really believe the act of homosexuality comes from evil..

I find this both hilarious and humiliating. First of all I love Cohen's characters and how he artfully exposes some pretty revolting mindsets with them. However, I find it depressing in that I'm from USA, living in Dallas and from my experience I can say that this type of /rabid bigotry/ is a minority, yet by reading these comments I gather plenty of people here are so hypocritically hateful towards Americans, southerners in particular. Certainly you must recogonize the difference between inate, unchangable aspects of a person, like their sexuality and changable aspects like their views on issues. You can't just turn gay or turn straight. You can rationally realize homophobia is largely fuelled by outdated religious hang ups.

Sexuality is a spectrum. Its not black and white. So someone can be 15% gay. Or 15% straight. Whatever happens to be the case.

Finally, whether gays see themselves as being part of an harassed minority or not is irrelevant; the fact is that it IS a minority that is frequently harassed. - Just look at the outpouring of homophobic comments here on You Tube. I would also refer you to the very high level of suicide among child and teen gays.
There is some evidence of a genetic disposition to homosexuality but research is at an early stage. Google gay dna or gay gene for links.
