I was there! I kind of lost the sense of time then (normal thing at Coachella) & was eating on the grass not far from the main stage when suddenly I heard this POWERFUL CRYSTAL CLEAR sound & everything around went red from the bright screen. I will never forget the feeling I had at that very moment. My dinner went flying into the air & the next thing I knew I was running fast through the crowd towards the stage. One of the top 5 performances I have ever seen and believe me, I have seen many.

all though I totally prefer their slower more electro prog rock versions of the originals---

I'm pretty sure it's the version they have been touring for the last 4 years though.

I do like how even within their extremely rigid structures, they never fail to make music. All the details in their tracks are always extremely interesting. Techno Zen!

Man, I was right up there, but I left before their set finished so I could see M.I.A. A decision I am still bitter about having to make, because Kraftwerk and M.I.A. were the best acts out of the entire three days. Portishead was pretty cool too. Aphex Twin was a disappointment with a pretty lame mix set.

This was a great show. Kraftwerk was cool. Portishead was good too although their lyrics are so depressing. I wanted to go see Flogging Molly to get happy again instead but didn't want to lose my prime spot for Prince. The price you pay at festivals, I guess.
