Every one knows that 911 was an inside job right? You see, the King James Version of the bible is really the word of God! The (kjv) bible tells us that we are living in Satan's kingdom. Thus, we are all going fulfill our moral duty and expose the father of all lies by posting the 911 was an inside job icon right?
it broke my heart this morning when i saw a colombian compatriot telling her story about her nephew that day the man worked at night shift but that day he was replacing somebody who wouldnt go to work what a bad luck that tragedy happened. he called his family before he died to let them know he was trapped in somewhere in the building and couldnt escape. 20 colombians died that day.
the only thing i didnt like of the memorial day was the raise of the flag at halfmast in irak where the war continue and there are hundreds of dead people for that stupid war. but today everybody in the world remembered that day im colombian i was at school that day i remember the words of my teacher the class was interrupted and she said this could be the beginning of a 3rd world war the twin towers in the united states have been attacked.
May I say from reading some of the comments on here; it is a tradegy!! Without question its horrific and its very evil for any one to MURDER innocent and beautiful people. No one will ever forget- for the devil himself is REAL not some fantasy that Hollywood conjured up!! As long as there are evil people that live among us- they will do the devil's bidding- no one in all honesty is safe!! As for our loved ones, and those still journeying in repentance- PRAYER this is the SURE WAY!! Pray!! :-)
A simple low cost memorial would have sufficed rather than as usual American's need to SHOW OFF that they're the "best" or try to be.. in everything!! We only need to reflect upon history and see carnage, loss of life- but WASTING so much money for no reason is far beyond sensibility its all about stupidity!!
What I can't understand is why build a stupid structure and the building alone cost billions of dollars to construct!! Shouldn't this money all be invested in the people whom are suffering from the economic sting rather waste it for the memory of the dead?!
I suffered with the world at the loss of all these precious people when it all happened- but honestly there's been large scale disasters happening in the world all the time- how come there is NOTHING on grand scale for them?!
@gayrosesarered What I can't understand is why you chose this moment to bash and call stupid something that is a memorial to thousands of innocent lives lost. You may see it as a waste of money, but it has inexplicably become something that reminds us of this tragedy. It is still nonetheless a memorial and you have just insulted it. And if you have truly lost many friends and family to this event, you would be sorely pissed if all there was to remember them, was a simple plaque on a park bench.
@DerekS168 Dude, they didn't need to spend that much money, it looks nice, but they dragged it out and spent way to much money. I look at that thing and wonder how the hell it costs that much and why it took so long. This has nothing to do with people that died during 9/11, but they were dumb as hell if they had to spend that much money
@Ryan200666 Are you even reading what I'm responding to? And once the project started it would be dumb as hell to demolish it half built because it started costing too much.
@Ryan200666 So the city would just say...yea screw your memorial to your loved ones? Great idea. I for one would be extremely pissed at the city govt. if they just demolished the memorial. I don't want a memorial for my co-workers and friends to be a mere plaque on a park bench, while I see yet another demolished building at the WTC site.
@DerekS168 No, when did I ever say something about a bench? I'm just saying they went overboard and spent a shitload of unnecessary money. If they knew what they were doing, they could have saved a lot of money and still had the same memorial. Aren't you wondering where all that money went?
@Ryan200666 Money being spent on anything is always going to come under fire and people are quick to point fingers. That always happens. Its just that the 10th year anniversary and unveiling of the memorial was a tough day for a lot of people, including myself, and I would have heavily appreciated it if people didn't choose that day to bitch about something costing too much out of respect. 10 years seemed like 10 minutes that day and then I see all this shit about corruption and what not.
This is not a triumph, it is a travesty. The attacks happened in 2001 and since then the Chinese built and entire City for the Olympics, We've had 11 New Year's Celebration, also 11 Superbowls, 3 World Cups, 11 Birthdays, you get the picture. It is a symbol of GREED in America, the ugly side of Capitalism. Nothing in that memorial reminds me of the men and women who died in that horrific attack. Shame on our system, shame on everyone involved!!!
@MusicforMe123 Instead of being a complete asshole and bashing the US at such a time, why don't you just appreciate the country you live in and remember those that were lost. Even if you do see the memorial as a waste of money, it is nonetheless a memorial and you have just called something commemorating thousands of innocent lost lives a symbol of greed and something ugly.
@DerekS168 I love the US of A and I am sadden by the lives that were lost on 9/11/01. As a matter of fact I was at the World Trade Center site on 9/11 but that has nothing to do with the greed that followed. Money hungry assholes that took years to build something that could of been built in a couple of years. Read carefully before you comment.
@MusicforMe123 I quote you "It [the memorial] is a symbol of GREED in America, the ugly side of capitalism" I don't care if you think the process of it being constructed was flawed. Maybe it was, maybe it isnt. You may have been there when it happened but you did not lose anyone to the tragedy. You insulted the memorial and cast it off as a symbol of something ugly. I don't know if thats what you truly think or if you just did not plan out your wording correctly. Word your comments carefully.
@AtheistTower Do you realize that I'm responding to someone that said the memorial stood for greed and the ugly side of capitalism? I never said the collapse had something to do with capitalism...sorry for the misunderstanding?
@MusicforMe123 Just because there were delays and cost rises, it does not solely mean there was mass corruption involved. There are other factors that could have caused it. My argument does not lie there, as it is entirely possible that there was corruption involved, but in you insulting a memorial.
@DerekS168 I am not insulting a memorial. I am however, appalled by a system that is based on greed. The memorial of the victims should of been first and foremost in the design, but money, office space, control, and power was put before life, death, honor and respect. The memorial was put there to avoid negative publicity. The memorials are there because of strong protest by the public, otherwise, you better believe these greedy bastards would put two office buildings in place of the memorial.
No offense, but wow it's really bleak. just a hole with water falling into it. I understand what they're attempting to do but...it's questionable hmm It would've at least been more interesting if people could walk behind the falling water or something. Such an expansive space it must be very uneasy to stand there and find some sort of comfort.
Christopher Ward, what a Dickhead. I heard he got fired probably because he sucked just like the new wtc, which everyone I know hates. It's so sad that they don't want to rebuild an Icon that everyone loved and was taken away by evil beyond our control. I just don't want to be put up with a building that's been build on lies and much more. I say rebuild the Twin Towers for the 9/11 family members and for all the people who were emotionally harmed and to make New York, New York again.
I feel very bad for all the family that have lost someone. I almost lost my aunt that day. For all the families out there to see this is something i would do to show my thanks for all the people who lost there lives to save our lives and to all the family that have lost one of there own. I will never forget that day. The it happened. Being in school not know what is going on then having you mother and father come take u from school to home. Trun on the tv and show you what is going on.

2013? Really? It seems like building is ahead of schedule. The Tower itself should be completed by December. The Interior should be done by at the latest August of 2012.
