lovely....they look much better than the picture...i never spent sop much on the background, but now thanks to you i feel its as impostant as the composition...
this is awesome! I am just starting back at watercolor and I was just wondering...do you use red sable brushes or have you been able to get away with synthetic? Your work is beautiful!
:) LOL and may I say, thanks that makes me soooooo happy. :) - Yes, In a glazing technique yes, you MUST wait, otherwise your glaze does not show through, esp. when using transparent watercolors vs. opaque. If your using opaque then no need to.
Hey Lori, we're stalking your channel on this Sunday evening! Jack is asking if you wait in between layers for the painting to dry and then come back to paint more.
Thanks ever so much Matt, and you grow them?? Oh what memories my grandmother used to grow them, I love love love em with salt. pulled fresh with the smell of dirt still on them. ;)
I don't think I've ever tried them but I will in a couple of weeks when they're ready. I'm also growing some corn, pumpkins, beans, a few herbs, a potato plant and a few varieties of tomatoes, chillies & strawberries. Home grown food always seems to taste much better.
Wow! Good thing I found your videos. I learned a lot just by watching a few, what more if I watch all of it. Thanks for sharing, you make it look so easy. You inspire me to not be impatient with watercolor. lol
I love inspiration!! We should paint together! Please lets see what your inpsiration has brought us!! And ahh.. yes, patience in watercolor is a MUST!!
When art makes you want a radish...that's amazing...cuz I can't remember the last time I had a radish! My Mom always bought radishes too! I love your art. You are a pleasure and sharing your process is a special treat you give us all.

Hi Lori,
I really enjoyed watching your creation come to life. Those radishes look good enough to eat. I hope the ones in my garden turn out as good.
Yet another highly talented Jello Girl :)
