this is awesome! I am just starting back at watercolor and I was just wondering...do you use red sable brushes or have you been able to get away with synthetic? Your work is beautiful!

:) LOL and may I say, thanks that makes me soooooo happy. :) - Yes, In a glazing technique yes, you MUST wait, otherwise your glaze does not show through, esp. when using transparent watercolors vs. opaque. If your using opaque then no need to.

Thanks ever so much Matt, and you grow them?? Oh what memories my grandmother used to grow them, I love love love em with salt. pulled fresh with the smell of dirt still on them. ;)

I don't think I've ever tried them but I will in a couple of weeks when they're ready. I'm also growing some corn, pumpkins, beans, a few herbs, a potato plant and a few varieties of tomatoes, chillies & strawberries. Home grown food always seems to taste much better.
