Im in Grade 2 and ive only been playing for a bit less than a year. My teacher says im a very quick learner. Right now she is teaching me this song because she thinks that i'd sound really good playing it. I might record myself one day and put it on Youtube ;)
It's good criticism. I don't think it's too harsh. Just because she's a child, she doesn't need to be told she's perfect when she's not. It's better to keep one behind and let them perfect something before moving on.
sound to mushy but i do give her credit for making an effort for trying. just keeping going and i know for sure that when she gets older, she will be playing really well
i started when i wasw about 5 and im only doing my grade 5 now im 14...she must be really good naturally , you cant learn how to that much in a year wow

I've been playing for over 4 years and I'm only on grade 2!!! My first teacherrs didn't really give me the choice though...

you are very good! Jennifer had to play for 2 years and 5 months before she passed grade 5 with distinction in April 2009.

i don't think this is good enough for grade 5. she is good in playing but she has to focus on her tune.
