absolutely amazing video, I really enjoyed, but I thought Superman 4 was a lot of fun reason being I never really liked luthor as a villian, I prefer villians who can hold there own in a physical fight with the hero, I really think thats more modern, the Luthor/Superman enemity has become really old fashioned, thats one reason I liked superman 4 because the radioactive superman guy could give superman a wallop if need me, and honestly its about time we have a new villian in the superman movies.

I disagree on Doomsday. Identical powers and just "the power to smash" aren't a good idea - the answer lies in special effects vehicles like Mr. Mxysptlk, Braniac, Metallo, Lord Satanus, The collector or Atomic Skull (who is a special effects THEMED villain).

Superman 4 was Chris's idea to make it, but no one wanted to support the movie bc Superman 3 bombed so they had no money for good effects and i agree superman 4 sucked

Superman IV effect just ruined the movie, also the dum apearence of radiactive man. Maybe Reeve only accepted made the this sequence due the positive message against nuclear weapons. Was the budget such limited to they used crap effects, light year even from the 1979 film? Can somebody informs about???

Warner gave the producers of Superman IV a very reasonable budget but the producers of the movie cut it almost in half of the original budget given to them, besides the film outfit was also busy doing other projects and less concentration was given in filming the movie. The effect?, production crews having problems with the movie special effects because of a tight budgeting. The producers of Superman IV is to blame for this.

Beatiful dedication first and foremost. But I was just thinking it was pretty improbable to keep a secret identity even in those days(even with the suspension of disbelief that everyone's thrown by glasses and a curl) but now it would be impossible to not end up on the internet the world seems way to connected to me now. The perspective title letter SUPERMAN wasn't computer generated, as some few maybe think waa added in a special edition version. It a effect achived by moving the title in a long exposure in a speial way.
