  • Thanks for letting me in on that. It'll help me with my illustrations. ^^

  • what is this???? :D[iminent=vIvDD7YVffOB]

  • Get the "Making Comics: Storytelling Secrets of Comics, Manga and Graphic Novels" by Scott McCloud. It will teach you everything you need to know about making comics.

  • He Likes Saying Shots! Thumbs Up If You Agree!

  • yo can you make a video of how to dra for ex. a spaceships or something?

  • that was too short to teach crap

  • nice

  • how do I get rid of this big script in the way of the video?!?!?!?!?1

  • @samsland22 hit the cc button in the lower right corner of the video.

  • thanks, very informative

  • It's interesting there are certain things that film and comics have in common. And this is specifically why. Visually the two mediums use the same techniques visually ( but organized differently I suppose.) It's no wonder that so much comics are going to the screen big or small. Great video and thanks all involved for putitng this on youtube!!!

  • I already make and sell comics, but i got bored, plus these are good tips.

  • Good information

  • These vids are awesome! Thanks for them all!

  • r there only those three shots? Wide shot, medium shot, and closed shot? or are there more?

  • There are but they are mostly takes on the other shots, like extreme wide-shot (mostly used as an establishing shot), extreme closeup (mostly used for emphasis), etc, etc. There are also cut-in shots, which are a type of extreme-closeup where one part of a character, environment or action is shown in extreme detail and is cut off from everything else (quite often the eyes or hands).

  • i find it so annoying that when ur trying to watch a vid someone has taken time over, utube decides its okay to have an advert right next to video clip, this is fair enough, they've got to finance utube ,else it would'nt exist, i dont mind adverts, WHAT i do mind is the advert having moving images , that compete for your attention like it or not, i know i could go to full screen, but have other apps running, PLEASE does anyone know how to disable with a click the movement of the advert, ?

  • There is a little 'x' that you can click to close them. Other than that, you can't get rid of them.
