Why don't you get things cooking and release Floyd on DVD on demand via some webbsite? It can't be encredible hard to handle rights here and rights there? It's a discrace to Keith that his shows will be forgotten and not introduced to the next generation just because some lazy asses can't agree on the income-split? I was lucky enough to interview Keith at Jean-Christophe Novelli's farmhouse while he was staying there briefly in 2009, it was his last interview in the UK before he went to France, never to return.... If anyone would like the transcript please let me know, he talks about what it takes to make a good chef, the role of creativity and what good food and good company are all about!

I wonder what his opinion would have been on the likes of Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson. Jamie may have done more than his fair share of TV shows but at the same time he's done a huge deal for cookery and food in general. Nigella has also done plenty of TV and is not really a trained chef herself but does have some ability and was good enough to cook for the President of the United States when he visited the UK.

I loved Keith's series 'Floyd's India' and his approach to cooking. A legend!!

I remember stumbling across Floyd on tv over 20yrs ago. A great entertainer & his style of travelogue/cooking show are still being copied today, but without his fun & passion. I've so many of his videos, dvds & books. You're sadly missed mate, but you live on for so many of us. I just wish I'd met him.

I'm just now learning about Floyd and his legacy.

There is a fantastic chef named Jean Soulard who is at the helm of Le Chateau Frontenac's restaurant "Le Champlain." He's one of my favorites.

I've had the op to eat there 3 times and every time it has been fantastic. : )

I agree with Keith here - as a trainee chef I really don't like modern tv chefs nowadays as they mask what it REALLY takes to be a chef, i'm an old school chef and admire chefs such as Floyd, Pierre White, Roux brothers, (a few modern ones like Harriot, Bourdain and Novelli)... I didn't particularly enjoy this programme- far too honest and upfront for my liking, dwelling far too much on a gentleman who was once happy and full of the joys of life, but was now bitter, upset, angry and obviously not well. I'm hoping that a better tribute is forthcoming- Keith Floyd was immensley good fun to watch, and I will miss him as he was, not as portrayed in this documentary- RIP Mr.Floyd.
