@lffit The problem is, Capitalism wasn't the cause of the devaluing of the US dollar / economy, it was socialism, their own banking system is socialist, because they were capitalising on the gain and socialising the losses, bailing another out has nothing to do with capitalism. The predatory lending that you mention, they were printing that money. the word 'were' and have been printing that money for years, long before Obama, Printing money is not capitalism, that's socialism. Printing money is the reason the dollar devalues, because it's every $1 to the value of one product. The more they print, the higher the inflation, the higher the debt to the currency. That's why the $ is devaluing.

The US dollar started to drop ages ago, because of outsourcing (Globalisation) declining exports rising imports and as as a result balooning unemployment.

The predatory lending that you mention, they were printing that money. the word 'were' and have been printing that money for years, long before Obama, Printing money is not capitalism, that's socialism. Printing money is the reason the dollar devalues, because it's every $1 to the value of one product. The more they print, the higher the inflation, the higher the debt to the currency. That's why the $ is devaluing.

I'm also proud of my British Heritage and history and the things we have all achieved together, but the days of the Empire are long gone.... Nearly every country under British control has became independent. Now it's time for the countries of Britain to become independent ! @12cdoherty The team to support is your local side.Its a shame most folk have stopped doing that.And this is part of the reason our games dying.The is great entertainment out there,in places like Perth.Motherwell,Kilmarnock,Paisley.Were there is teams that is playing good football,in the right manner.But people still leave for Glasgow.To watch the lowest quality auld firm sides,than I can remember.I support Rangers but I am from Glasgow.Then again saying that,our clubs have fans world wide now.

Scotland is quite a backwards country. It is 2011 and they are still split by religion. Catholics are looked down upon by the majority, the largest city is split by religion, bigots who hate other bigots. It's the European murder and drug capital, sad really. And the people are disgusting, ugly, uneducated. Sad really, watch a BBC show called the Scheme, it shatters the romantic vision of Scotland people have.

I am from Catalonia and I remember in 1972, when Francos rule was at its most brutal, a football team the Glasgow Rangers came to Barcelona to play a cup final, after the game they showed us not to be afraid of Francos men they kicked them all over the field! They helped bring democracy to Spain!
