He is greatness. I bought exactly the same guitar except i sounded crap so i sold it. Just wish he's get his ass to uk! If Luke Doucet can do it, why can't Martin?? Come to St Bonaventure's!! I will put flyers all around Bristol and you'll be sold out! C'Mon! :-)
Oh, man. It's nice to see this again. That first album saw me through so many tough times. Martin Tielli, where ever you are, know that your music helps. A nation doesn't own the talent of its residents, but I feel nevertheless proud to be Canadian when I hear this man's music.
You know what, Martin's music doesn't make me proud to be Canadian, it makes me ashamed that the man isn't selling out concert halls across the nation.
Point well-taken. I did my best to sell out a couple of gigs in Calgary a few years back (enthusiastically attended both shows and bought a poster.) But Martin Tielli isn't making it easy to support him, is he. Few recent concerts to speak of and he isn't exactly releasing music for mass public enjoyment. Much to admire about his artistic integrity, but dammit! When I think about it, though, just because you're an artist doesn't mean you're automatically cut out for the public eye...
martin rocks!
