No greenscreen at all. The camera is locked off, so using the time shuffle plugin I just jumped around different points in the footage of him walking by the camera. I also had him twitch his head and body as he walked to help the effect.

speed ramping effects I do in AfterEffects and then conform it back to my video editor. Make sure to shoot in native mode (PN) as this makes your files smaller and easier to work with without sacrificing even a pixel in quality. Video editors like FCP and Avid don't handle FX work like speeding up or slowing down well, so try a compositing/fx program like After Effects :)

Hey, I shoot on an FS100 with an HVX as well. However I do my editing in FCP an have had trouble with speeding up or slowing down the footage for effects like this. Is there some specific setting on the firestore and HVX i should have?

Shot on an HVX with natural light at a good exposure. 24P in DVCPROHD 720p. No adaptors or anything, just the camera stock lens.

There's no tutorial that I know of for this, I did it on my own using FMP and a time shuffle plugin. There was a fair bit of keyframing involved too. The sounds were also from videocopilot, but I didn't use any of the videocopilot tutorials.
