It is truly an amazing breed! From my experience they really are "dog-like". All the positive traits of a dog - follows you around,playful,energetic,loyal (to the point of running away from others out of fear and paranoia) - and all the positive traits of a cat - poops only in a litter box and not clingy or needy. And of course they really are hypoallergenic! My cat allergies were so severe I couldn't be in the same (relatively large) house with a cat! But now my Sib stays in my room 24/7.

some guys think having cats is wierd, if you have a bunch of pink and cat pictures and stuff on your walls then your pretty lame. this is cute and a reasonal breed, ;D get 2 or 4 (male, male , female ,female) and then you breed them if they will. and since they are a great breed you sell of f the cats for around 400 and then you get your proffit.

@trecoolsrebelrocker A lot of breeder websites have info pages about why SIberians are better for some allergy sufferers. I visited a breeder and still sneezed but they had other cats. Some people still react to Siberians. You can visit a breeder or have one mail you a bag of fur. Lol

AAW! you take one look at this gorgeous cat and all you can do is "aaaah" & "aaaw" I seriously want a siberian cat but i dunno where to buy one plus i'm allergic which is why this is a perfect breed for me :) oh and my parents...yeah,...they're not to thrilled about it :L

out of all the hypoallergenic cats, this is the only one that actually has fur. and yes, it is hypoallergenic, in most cases, it serves less allergies

Hopefully not. These cats are considered to be the only hypoallergenic cats. I had one (found him in the forest back home in Russia). It was very clever and even used the human toilet. For real!!!
