This is a compilation from the last production run videos posted on honda.jp. The look and feel of these videos create a mood that black and white cannot achieve.
An assembly line video showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship and production process of the fine Japanese roadster that is the Honda S2000. After watching this video, I feel that much more grateful and privileged to own a vehicle whose engineers emphasized perfection in order to produce a well-designed machine and to ensure an exhilarating driving experience that few others can match
this video is horrible. my god, i can't believe HONDA doens't have the funds to make this a kicker video. the shake, the CC, it is too dark, too green, it is like watching The Matrix filmed inside a theater with a home video camera.
@alejonin While the video quality certainly isn't the best, we should appreciate that Honda at least recorded any footage at all so we could get an idea of the process the S2000 goes through in the assembly line
@alejonin Lol, I feel your pain, man. I'm sure Honda has the funds to have shot the original footage steadier, but it looks like they just got carried away with the overexposure and retro look during post-production. Like bizhan, I'm just glad we have access to the footage at all
wow, this is touching...it's like watching an artist create a piece of art or like seeing the miracle of life being formed...simply...beautiful! It makes me fall in love with my S2000 all over again. 8D
Anybody else think that those painting robots at 4:50 look really creepy? They remind me of the lens of truth boss from ocarina of time. "Death hand" I think they were called...
@TheJoePepper Unfortunately, yes. I think Honda recorded most of the shots without a tripod or some kind of rig. It's especially bad in the run along the production line since the video is sped up.
WOW... Many many years ago my car was there :|

It's like a footage of a very special child being born.

Where did that huge-ass spoiler come from? Doesn't come standard (or as an option) on any S2000 I've ever seen.

@davesdog
cr spoiler
peepeeguy19 1 year ago
@davesdog That's the Type S model and it was only for the Japanese market.
Charlie26021949 1 year ago
@Charlie26021949 actually, this is the CR model and you can get it in the US
Menacexp 1 year ago
@Menacexp it uses the CR rear spoiler but it's the Type S on the video... anyway it's not important, all of them are the state of the art:-)
Charlie26021949 1 year ago
@Charlie26021949 cool...i didn't know that...looked like the CR cuz it also has the CR front bumper and rims...buy ya, i see the TypeS badge.

Good job! Thank you for the video! I was one of the lucky guys to visit the production in July 2009 and it's good to have these memories recorded...

Is the video supposed to shake like that? Combined with the music I feel dizzy.
