  • 3:02 - 4:06 : "Haunted Mansion Theme" >'D

  • a very interesting version

  • thrashing rendition. Thank you king crimson for bringing this music to life.......everyone go buy the entire 81 japan tour from DGM....it's worth it.....the drop after the middle section is so ill....and i like how fripp does the weird sounds in the first part and belew in the 3rd. they switch playing rhythm parts too, ov'viossly, and then, like whoa tony, watchoo doing late in dat track, man? some funky ass high notes yeah? brilliant ending too, bruford at 2:37 SIIIICK!

  • bah, what happened to the drumming? Bleh. Definitely no Bruford here.

  • Don't know if the tempo thing really has to do with liking shredders like Vai or not.

This tune has been played too fast by most Crimso formations in the past two decades. Nice to hear it bash up the atmosphere in this one.

  • King Crimson is a force of nature, like Tool. They stand alone. They can't be put into a type of music.

  • @1fatpigrat unless, of course, you consider Progressive Rock a "type of music". No band is an island.

  • Slow

  • @Bagas Yeah, you prefer people like Steve Vai I assume? You shouldn't listen to such slow things, these aren't fun. It's the old mens music for us not you huh?

  • @BLooDCoMPleX Your assumption is completely idiotic. I never liked Vai. I merely said that this version is slow, however I still love the band. Nice try though, idiot.

  • WOW!!!

  • @classicrock64 Not bad for a boot eh. Crimson is a rock band after all?

  • @Asymmatrix *Prog rock, no mortal regular classic rock band could compose music of such epic magnitude!

  • @Axeman89 I agree.

  • @Axeman89

Aye, but unlike a great many ProgRock bands, King Crimson can ROCK!!

And they ROCK in just about every time signature on the books.

But alas, my favorite ROCK-time-siggie hyjinks has to be Pink Floyd's "Money."

Has anyone else bothered to count out the time on that one?

  • @cliffwalkinfoo 7/4, I believe

  • @Asymmatrix yep, 7/4 verse and chorus, 4/4 solo
