When will people realize hanging the tail out thru the turns is NOT the fastest way thru a turn........hanging the tail should be saying..."I goofed up here....I'm just saving my screw-up right now".The fastest way thru a turn is rather boring to watch....doesn't make for good video.
miraculously i've actually seen (in my life) 4 of these on the road... one was at night and it went by so fast i only recognized it by the sound of that beautiful exhaust and the tell-tale brake lights at the back... not to mention it was the lowest, widest, fastest mutha fucker i've ever seen on the road
i honestly dont care if its actually brittish, i dont care that ferrari helped ford design it before it even went to the brits... its all american because america itself is a mutt like that... and this car is perfect...
Umm, id say 3rd gear, but then again the Ford GT probably can stay in 1st gear to 60 or so....still, i say third bc that's when traction and power are best IMO.
I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area tv market, and I don't remember ever seeing this commercial. What a shame. I would imagine that there are a lot of GM, Ford, and Chrysler ads that are not shown here. Foreign cars (whether built here or overseas) really dominate this market. Take the California edition of the 2009/2010 Mustang. You could go days between viewing that ad on tv. Now, 2011 there is no Ford dealership in San Francisco. Sad days indeed!
i Love Ford and this commercial too because its REAL not lke many other ads that are all CG and make no sense when i see a car commercial i want to see the car perform no music no BS just the sound of the exhaust and tires dont want to see cars driving on walls and shit FORD RULES
Indeed, a classic and a beautiful piece of engineering. Americans can build great cars if they decide they want to. Unfortunately, this has not been the case often enough.
@bronze5420 Not denying that but Ford seems to have finally gotten the message that American's are not going to settle for crap built cars. I drove a 2011 5.0 Mustang and I said to myself "this can't be a Ford" Fit, finish is Euro quality and oh thay V8 engine is music to the ears =). Makes my 93 5.0 feel like a model T lol.
I love this car, its sound- its shape - its heritage, all are pure sex.
My only regret is that i will never own one, unless maybe , does anyone here want to buy a first born ?
