seeing Zepagain for my 3rd time tonight at the Coach House in San Juan, CA. I think they sound so good! They are kind of a Zeppelin for a younger generation, you know, give us a chance to see live Zeppelin music. At least thats what I think.
Are you serious? How cheap can you get? He pulled that violen solo exactly off the SRTS film. Seriously? That's so crap. Get a life, and make your own music instead of copying something that's already been done. CREATIVITY. If you just copy something that's already been done, how do you ever get any better? This is a joke, I'm ashamed that as a Zeppelin fan that jimmy page has to listen to fakes like these. It's disgusting.
Well, Jimmy Page himself went to the House of Blues in Hollywood to check these guys out and really liked them. So much so, that he wanted to meet them ater the show, Go to their website for pictures if you dont believe me.
Anybody that says that this wanna be zeppelin cover band is "almost as good as Led Zeppelin themselves" needs therapy. Please, give me a break. You are no where near calling yourself a Zeppelin fan!!!
MY CROSS CONNECTION BAND saw this band in Anaheim and in Indio and they've got it dialed in. The only other tribute band that hits this close is the Fab Four. Thanks for the show in Indio Guys. Look forward to seeing you again when you're in this area.
Well, actually, I (the grl who shot this video, that is, not the guitarist) made the suit myself... watched Zep videos over and over again in order to draw the sketches for it from scratch and it took months to do the hand sewing, beading and painting; but I didn't charge anything but continued friendship :-) -- but, yeah, would cost a FORTUNE to have made at a costume shop (way too much detail!) Steve does also have that white one, now - wears it for their special 1977 tour shows!
Any chance you could make me the vest Jimmy Page wears in the 1970 concert at the Royal Albert Hall? I really dig it! I'm going to be seeing Led Zepagain at Romanos on Saturday
haha - considering I'd probably be a great-grandma before I'd ever finish knitting that (or anything else requiring actual knitting skills :-), I think I should probably very politely decline that job, but is it okay if I show my empty-handed face at Romano's this Saturday, anyway? blush blush ;-)
of course the bow rips, you idiots that think any one else other than john bonham got to play with jimmy page is a fuckin idiot in the highest degree!! there was only 1 Led Zep and that included john bonham....why do you think you dont have any new Led Zep songs....doh!!..fuckin uneducated idiots!!
Well...this is truly amazing. For the first seconds I'm like "what is LZ doing at the Whiskey in 2007, this can't be right". This guy moves exactly like Jimmy Page down to the slightest nuance. I wonder how long it took to practice that. And look, it's John Bonham sitting in the back. WOW.
that's because page's hands weren't real. they were both cut off in a boating accident when he was only 7 months old, somehow before they could make it to hospital he regrew both of them. that's right, he regrew both hands like a starfish or a lizard. no one ever questioned it until now, until YOU
Led Zepagain is an amazing LZ cover band. Not only do most of them look like LZ but in some ways, I think musically they are better. The drummer looks like John Bonham and he is incredible!! I almost passed out when I saw these guys because they are so good. I am glad I didn't. I urge all LZ fans to check out Led Zepagain. You wont be disapointed...
im sure u are right but let me get this straight u said they are better musically first of all they arent their own musicians they are covering a legend in led zeppelin and you are going to say they are better musically what are u jokin no one was better musically then the mighty zeppelin
led zepagain is a tribute band..these guys are just showing the younger generation what ledzeppelin played.i saw these guys in toronto and they were amazing.if they ever come to your home town you should go
I love the crowd! It was like that (but even louder!) when I saw the real Led Zeppelin in 1977. The audience just went nuts! There's just something wonderful about getting swept away by the music along with a bunch of other fans, and I'll cherish that experience forever!
@fenderguy97 don't worry - you weren't born in the wrong decade: When I'm sitting old & gray in my rocking chair, you'll be rockin' out for many more decades to come. (Maybe by then there's even be the technology to create a very true-to-life virtual-reality arena concert experience just out of old Zep footage - you just never know... :-)
Kinda funny, but pretty cool. They obviously love the music as much as we do. Bow solo obviously simulating 1973 live version of Dazed, and guitar solo mirrors studio solo off Zep 1. Jimmy actually went to see these guys several years ago I seem to recall. What an honor for any tribute band.
You who say embarassing; these guys went/go to berklee which is probably the most prominent and credited music institution today. Hands down for them.
I don't see it that way. If TSRTS was the first album you ever owned as a kid 30 years ago, and you played it to death, then you would understand why these guys are doing this.
Nobody...I mean NOBODY... can sound like the big Z...but somehow these guys can make me believe it temporarely... And that's more than I was ever able to say... You guys rock me out of my socks...

what type of les paul do you play?
amp?
effects?
jimmyp73 2 years ago
I'm not the one who posted the video, but I'm the guitarist, so I can answer you:
That's a 2006 LP Standard, 50's neck. I also have a 2002 Classic 60's reissue, and a 1978 Black Beauty LP Custom.
My amp here is a Mojave Coyote (mojaveampworks-dot-com)
For the bow stuff, I've got an Ibanez Tube Screamer, Small Stone Phaser and Boss Giga Delay on, with some Cry Baby wah pedal as well.
Thanks for the comments!
