There is no contradiction outside the one youre creating in your head to reconcile your misguided assumption that Ishmael is part of the Covenant with Isaac and his descendents. God tells Abraham that his descendents shall be as many as the stars in heaven, but His Covenant is with Isaac and his descendents.

@aliens301 Qur'an didn't copy from the ot and nt. If it did, there would have been countless cases of rape, incest, and written pornography in the Al-Qur'an, but there's no such thing. Some of the original revelation is in the OT and NT, although most of it is transgressions, but we believe that Al-Qur'an came to correct, confirm, and supercede the previous scriptures. Like for example the story of Noah(p). The bible say the entire world was flooded, but Al-Qur'an corrects and say it was local.

Jesus died for everybody, but so that prophecy would be fulfilled the Jews had to reject Him according Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 just for starts. They had to reject Him so that the time of the Gentiles could be fulfilled. God was angry with the Jews, just as he was when the first temple was destroyed & the first exile took place, so he was with the second temple destruction and the final dispersion.

Some of the original revelation is in the OT and NT, although most of it is transgressions, but we believe that Al-Qur'an came to correct, confirm, and supercede the previous scriptures. Like for example the story of Noah(p). The bible say the entire world was flooded, but Al-Qur'an corrects and say it was local.

Muhammad did not come to contradict the teachings of Jesus. He came to confirm them. What the Bible says about Jesus is not true. Modern Christanity is based upon Pauls teachings of Christ. Not the actual teachings of Christ belived by his first followers (Palestinian Jews).
