  • Put it on a boat/canoe and let's see what it will do.

  • Nice work, I'll have to give it a try.

  • 29cc

  • no way thats 29 cubic inch. my lawn tractor has a 18.5hp 2 cyl engine and thats only 46 or so cubic inches. try 29cc, cubic CENTIMETERS

  • you could cut the grass out at sea

  • I believe those engines are actually 1.5hp @7200 rpm.

  • These engines are well made, but it seems that they only do well in applications other than string trimmers. The original ones which Ryobi made back in the early 90s didn't have this problem, but when the motor was revised to meet the new emission standards, they had to add a breather tube- big mistake. They always get oil aspirated into the intake if they are turned over while running.

  • Don't care what it has stamped on it. It is a 4-STROKE engine. All engines are ONE CYCLE. The thing that differentiates them is the number of STROKES per their cycle.

    But, nice work!

  • @vstabill36 in the engine world a 4 stroke and 4 cycle are the exact same thing

  • Wow..that was great...i wish u would show more detail on how you made the piece that holds the motor

  • i made one of these out of a homelite 26cc 2 stroke .9 hp and a eska 3.5 lower unit... i call mine a homaeska. ill post i video next week

  • How did u make the other parts? With the prop?

  • hi im trying to do something similar to this with a tecumseh lawn mower engine. I'm not able to start it with out the blade due to the lightwieght aluminum flywheel. do you have any suggestions on how to overcome this problem?

  • @MsPowerade123 Just get the right flywheel. 3.5hp horizontal shaft briggs flywheel will replace the lighter vertical shaft mower flywheel and it'll run.. Some top covers may need clearencing

  • This outboard will only push a 12ft boat about 4mph

    Thanks for watching

  • hello im 12 but my dad had gotten me a small 12 ft john boat and i was wondering how fast do u think a 50 cc weedeater motor with a trolling motor prop would push my boat because we go through some rough terrain and well i like longtail motors moe than standard outboard motors? plz reply

  • do you sell this outboard engine???how much??

  • brilliant!!

  • you are one of the few people that understand if you want something like this(weed eater or small engine) to work the prop must not be moving in start or idle otherwise it will NOT work

  • i cant find the sea king midget on ebay or internet

  • thats not much my 2 stroke = 2.5 hp

  • OK I have a lower unit from a 1hp Sea King on the way. How hard will It be to put the power head on and what brand trimmer will I need? It looks like a craftsmen.

    Thanks Great job.

  • i looked for this on ebay and couldn't find a lower unit or even the whole motor. i even googled it and still no luck.

  • COOL. does it push ur boat at a well pace?

  • Wow! How much did that setup cost minus the weed eater? I'm looking for a small engine for my inflatable boat...

  • @Mazstylez Check Ebay for a sea king midget lower unit they are very reasonable.

  • Very Nice Job, 5 stars to ya {:-)

  • This was part was machined to hold the tiller .

  • were did you get the bottom part which goes to the 90 degree angle the whole silver thing

  • LOWER UNIT IS A SEA KING. MIDGET

  • Very Very Cool... What is the lower unit from? Amazing!

  • Nice. Did you buy as a kit, or make from spare parts?

  • very cool and i always wanted to make one and i might one day since i have the same engine
