sports coupé may well be made by the motor companies with a long history of car racing. most of european or japanese auto industries have a long history of car race and know-how needed to make a good sports car as a whole, while korean motorcar industries have seldom any history of car racing.
in my opinion you would be better off with the 370z as well. Nissan has many more years of experience in performance rather than Hyundai. Although this is the first Hyundai worth mentioning as far as performance goes.

I have a 2000 Elantra and have had barely anyproblems with it too. Only replace a hose and pump and a lose wire to the air bag. those were so miner. I mean the least amount of problems i've had from a car and it's 9 years old!

They're really good cars. Why do people live off of the early 90s? Honda's and Nissan's use to be crap in my opinion. Owned 2-3 Fords, all shitty. Oil leaks, engine stalls and plenty of problems. well i am not a kid, I actually work for Hyundai and i know that. The new gearbox and clutch in the Genesis coupe is from Mercedes, and the 2.0L motor is from Mitsubishi. It's harder and rougher than Viper's clutch. I should know, I OWN one. It's got the same toughness as a Porsche Boxster clutch, and I should know, because I've DRIVEN one. In fact, I've driven everything from a Ferrari F430, to a Lamborghini Diablo, to an Aston Martin Vanquish, to a simple Mini Cooper S. So trust me.....I KNOW.
And if you DID know the guys who designed the Genesis Coupe, then maybe you should ask yourself why they'd bash their own car by pointing out glaring oversight problems on their part. Doesn't make sense. If it doesn't make sense, it isn't true.
SG, you should do a search for the Autospies video where they test out a yellow Gen Coupe. vivacali84 says he test drove one and compared it against his Z. That is unusual because as you say, if he knew the R&D team behind the car's design he would not have had to test drive one to find out what he should already have known. I hate to agree, but you are right about the lap times. They keep comparing this car to other coupes, like BMW's and the like. But they never pitted one against a BMW on the track yet. I want them to show me this car is great, and not just talk about it being great. Talk is cheap. I am not saying this car is not capable, but i am saying Hyundai is talking some big talk with out showing us some real solid test. This car lost to the Mustang in a drag race on Motor Trend just for the record.

First of all the Yellow color only comes in the V6 3.8L Track version so the yellow one is V6. I know their is a 2.0L turbo but in yellow color is only for the V6 Track Version

Our gas prices are largely tax, to deter the use of gas due to its adverse consequences. Also these statistics are easily avaible from Wikipedia, NationMaster and the UN Statistics Database. Use search engines? As a matter of fact I have visited the US, I found the east coast to be a very good place yet found most of the rest to be lacking in development. I also found the lack of free healthcare and tertiary education to be rather sad.

No, they meant SMART key entry which is different from regular keyless entry. In smart key, you walk up to the car press the button ON THE DOOR HANDLE, and enter. Press the ignition button on the car and drive off.
In keyless entry, you press a button on the keyfob, then put the key in the ignition key holder then drive off.

People want to buy expensive cars because they need to compensate for their own insecurities and self esteem issues. Unfortunately, expensive doesn't always mean "quality." Mercedes is a perfect example of a car that costs a shitload, and CONTINUES to cost a shitload in repairs. Hyundai? Sorry, gone 5 years with no problems on my Tiburon. Nadda' one! Why do people bash Hyundai's so much? I think it's funny people support Japanese cars so much yet bash Koreans? Personally, our family owns 2 Hyundai Tiburons (1 07 and an 08) and a 2008 Azera. They're really good cars. Why do people live off of the early 90s? Honda's and Nissan's use to be crap in my opinion. Owned 2-3 Fords, all shitty. Oil leaks, engine stalls and plenty of problems. Mercedes in the shop all the time because of non-mechanical error. Little crap that costs money... Hyundai=np.

And we're comparing new cars, not used. GL finding an 09 G37 new. I've never bought a used car so no point in comparing the prices of a new car to an old.
And the Genesis coupe has amazing residual value and I also do not understand where you are getting your sales figures from but it is selling very well.
Also, mustang is a muscle car. Fords are at the bottom of my list.

It's harder and rougher than Viper's clutch. I should know, I OWN one. It's got the same toughness as a Porsche Boxster clutch, and I should know, because I've DRIVEN one. In fact, I've driven everything from a Ferrari F430, to a Lamborghini Diablo, to an Aston Martin Vanquish, to a simple Mini Cooper S. So trust me.....I KNOW.

I want them to show me this car is great, and not just talk about it being great. Talk is cheap. Our gas prices are largely tax, to deter the use of gas due to its adverse consequences. Also these statistics are easily avaible from Wikipedia, NationMaster and the UN Statistics Database. Use search engines? As a matter of fact I have visited the US, I found the east coast to be a very good place yet found most of the rest to be lacking in development. I also found the lack of free healthcare and tertiary education to be rather sad.

The United States has not been in a fully comitted conflict since the the second World War, if we did commit all our military resources to the iraq conflict the result would be much like modern germany or japan; a defeated country where the insurgency would be killed off due to the sheer power and numbers of a complete invasion. Also the fact that we dont have to answer to, or gain permission from the rest of the world about attacking countries makes us a superpower.

Based on the size and global reach of its economy and on its global political influence, Most agree the EU is. the large economy of the EU, that European technologies more and more set the global standards and that European countries give the most development assistance simply add more fuel to my point. The notion that europe leads the world in technology, especially millitary technology is laughable, the United States and the former Soviet Union basically developed most of the modern weapons systems that were given to europe and used to this day and since we survived into the present we still lead the world in these technologies. The other idea that the europeans have to pool their economic value to barely exceed ours is pathetic, our NATIONS economy almost equals europe.

So if there is no keyless entry on the r spec does that mean no power locks. But seirously does it really add that much weight. Only 2 actuators and some switches, or is that how Hyundai makes theirs cars so cheap.

No, they meant SMART key entry which is different from regular keyless entry. In smart key, you walk up to the car press the button ON THE DOOR HANDLE, and enter. Press the ignition button on the car and drive off.
In keyless entry, you press a button on the keyfob, then put the key in the ignition key holder then drive off.

Lol why would u want a performance V6? the all aluminum 4 cylinder turbo would smoke the v6 in handling and performance if tuned right. Man Hyundai did some things right but it boggles my mind about the engine. Can't wait to see how soft the suspension setup is LOL, granted the geometry is nice but whatever hyundai is hyundai.

Ford offered packages to ppl so they would leave and they would pay them 100k in these packages to leave, so if you were not offered one, they would ship you to a new plant if the one ur in isnt doing so good. Thats what happened to me and is going to happen again. So yes it makes sense. OK, umm is the guy that made ford still alive? Does he still run the company? No and no. So what relevance does that have to this. And you never answerd why leasing is dumb.

IMO the rx-8 is just an extremely watered down rx-7. Go with the highest level GT dude my uncle has one and it's almost as comfortable as a Caddy, the leather is top notch. If i were you though i would wait until spring and get the 2010.

The F-150 is the best looking truck there is and my moms 96' Explorer is over 10 years old and still runs like new. Same with my aunts 01' Escape and uncles 97' Ranger. Oh, and my buddy's 96' civic has more problems then the explorer. It isn't about who makes the car it's about how you take care of it.
