I have to have my baby for 5 days when I went to target everyone stared and like you could see it was a doll but my partner and I splitt the 10 days up so that we both have to deal with it through out the different stages so so far it dosent suck to bad but it is far from fun tho

God knows thier parents aren't doing it. If it did the birthrate wouldn't be so damn high.

I had to do the same project.... and it wasn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be... I do agree that is is different than caring for a real baby, because sometimes babies stop crying as soon as you pick them up, and you dont have a microchip thing for a real baby. But it is supposed to simulate a real infant... I had to take mine to school with me...during finals :/ Some of my teachers got really mad, it sucked, but made me realize how hard going to school and having a baby could really be.

True Story: I'm currently 28. I remember this project back in High School. The doll was super annoying. I couldn't take it anymore from all the crying that I took the battery out and threw it in the closet. The following morning I got in trouble from my teacher. She said what would you do if that was a real baby? MOST babies only cry some. I work with babies for a living, and out of the 80 that I have cared for, 4 of them would cry for at LEAST 8.5 out of 10 hours. They would cry when I held them, fed them, changed them, rocked them, set them down, walked them in a stroller, etc. They would cry for thier parents too. You get what you get when it comes to babies. Luck of the draw!

True Story: I'm currently 28. I remember this project back in High School. The doll was super annoying. I couldn't take it anymore from all the crying that I took the battery out and threw it in the closet. The following morning I got in trouble from my teacher. She said what would you do if that was a real baby? Funny thing was at that time my brother had just had a baby and I was getting up all hours of the night feeding my nephew as he was screaming for milk. ....CAUSE HE WAS REAL!!!! lol

Sorry to tell you sweetie but real babies cry.... so you say you have taken care of a real baby before but doing it everyday is different from taking care of a real one VS taking care of one for a short time.... it's supposed to teach you what a real baby is like.

ok. first of all, everything your going through is exactly whats supposed to happen because thats exactly how your going to feel if you have a baby on your own. sorry to break it to you. on a side note, ive taken the class and dout you had it as bad as i did. not only did my sensors not work (bottle, diaper...) my kid was set accidently on the colic setting so, umm yeah. feel lucky. anyway hope u passed the class.

MOST babies only cry some. I work with babies for a living, and out of the 80 that I have cared for, 4 of them would cry for at LEAST 8.5 out of 10 hours. They would cry when I held them, fed them, changed them, rocked them, set them down, walked them in a stroller, etc. They would cry for thier parents too. You get what you get when it comes to babies. Luck of the draw!
