the RX8 was never meant to be the RX7's replacement. it was just an interum sports car to put in the market after the RX7's demise.

LF-A is full of win. It's got the looks,the power and the reliability. But what was Toyota thinking when they priced it at $400k? It seems that they shot themselves on the foot. Aiming at the wrong market=epic fail. They should have priced it near the GT-R or even the ZR1,but heck,400k could buy me a fully modded GT-R for track days and still have spare cash to but a decent sedan to buy groceries.

they are trying to break the production car lap record belive me when a car has been spyed on the nurburging alot of times you will know that the manufactor of the car wants serious performance from it and nissan is trying to beat the lap record with the spec v and they wont they'll probably cheat to acomplish a good time with it just like they did with the base model gt-r and i doubt a car manufacor will make a base model of another car its benchmark

um no, they are not. if they were, they would of given the car more power tham 552hp. considering the current record holder right now has 800hp and weighs UNDER 3,000lbs.

Lexus has said, themselves, that they wanted to beat the GT-R's time. they have NEVER claimed that they wanted to get the production lap record.

by the way, the SpecV isn't going to break the track record. the only differences between it and the base GT-R is an 100lb weight difference and better tuned suspension.
