That is just amazing. I didn't know about these and now I'm hooked trying these combos on single player and online. I even try fighting people on free mode online (they work there too). The music goes good with it too.

You named Combo 3 two times instead of Combo 4. So there's no Press X , triangle+left. (PS3)

i never knew there were combos until i saw a video of the mission bleed out with roman in the park and niko dodged this guys slow punch(the one in red jacket) then hit him with a right left right left uppercut it was hilarious he went flying

1. does pressing a direction really matter? i mean i did most of these just by dodging and pressing Y or B repeatedly.

I love the knee to the face and the nutcracker. I should get to practicing my self-defense more often. I just got knifed to an inch of my life and didn't appreciate that. It happened so fast, that I was like "what the, throw a punch dude don't die like this in the dirty streets." Word of advice, pay attention to people you piss off. If they don't run when you point a gun at their head then shoot them in the leg and make them reconsider.

Okay, in order to do combo's and stuff you have to press A right when the person fighting you is throwing a punch, you will dodge either under or bending back. When you do, press Y or B and you will performe combos presing Y or B more than once sometimes makes another type of combo but I haven't really mastered it. Dodging an attack is hard at first it's all about timing, you really have to do it right when they throw the punch or you will just block. Practice on Taxi drivers, they always fight.

Not trying to be mean or anything but, I would like to point out that there are more combos(such as the uppercut or dropkick). A little repeat in text for combo three... but those things aren't really important because people should learn some things on their own.

You can also preform combos with the Knife and the Baseball Bat. And a combo that can disarm a combatant if they are armed with a knife or baseball bat.

You still get hit a couple times before Niko blocks. ALSO TRY THIS: when in a fight, block while holding a KNIFE and Niko will do a special execution move with the knife. This also works with the BAT as well. Niko can also block a knife attack and take the opponents knife away from him.

I don't think it's necessary to press a direction for some these. I have it on ps3 and i've done all of these without pressing any direction, the difference is Niko will do different things depending on the health of the enemy. If they have full or most of their health he'll do moves that don't knock them down, just take off half their health. If they're almost dead he does a finishing blow like the kick to the nuts. I think it's just random as far as which one he does.

What about combos when peds don't have half health or lower? They do different ones depending on their health, which is full health or above half and KO health level, lower than half.
