I'm having a really bad stomach virus and its been going on for four days strait so far and I'll vomit whatever I eat. I talked to a doctor and he said I had some kind of stomach bug that would stay in my stomach from 24-48 hours, and would later drop to my lower intestant. He was wrong. I've been vomiting continuesley for the past 2 days. And then it took a break for a day. The next day (now) I'm vomiting up my own stomach asid and it's all I'm vomiting. I've had this for the last 24 hrs, no vomiting just the other end all day. Real bad sharp stomach pains. Been drinking lots of Gatorade which helps prevent dehydration & dehydration makes nausea worse so drink lots of fluids if you have this. Just now starting to feel human again so I'm lucky it's only been 24 hrs, my husband had it as well a few days ago, been laying down all day til now ugggh

It hurts to move. My stomach keeps rumbling so loudly that it wakes me up. I'm starving but can't eat because I can't keep anything down for 2 days. Had soup today and that's gonna be back up soon. Ugh . Want this to end. Feels like a curse or something. Wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy :(

People the flu shot will not prevent the stomach flu because it is NOT a flu. The stomach flu is actully called the stomach virus. People call it the stomach flu because when you have the stomach virus you can get many of the same symptoms as the flu such as fever. I hope this answers some questions. :)

@geezilikecheez An easy way to deal with the stomach flu without vomiting is when ever you feel like you are about to get sick (you know) grab a cracker and eat it very slowly if your mouth gets dry sip a little bit of 7 up. It works for me when I get the stomach flu but other people may have it differently. Hope this helps :)

i found it was hard to lie down because it hurt more so i discovered a trick that i put these pillows in a corner and i slpet sitting down but comfortably. what sucks is i had this like only 1 and a half months ago. uhhhh

Bleck.. I have the stomach flu right now. I havent eaten in 26 hours, I've vomited over 25 times since 3 am until 4 pm, and I've lost 8 pounds. About 6 pm, I started sucking on ice cubes and taking sips of water. It's now 10 pm and I'm about to take a couple bites of crackers and a little bit of soup. I'm aching all over and dizzy.. I'm only 14 and this is the worst thing I've ever experienced.

The seceret is when you drink, dont take big gulps or put a bunch of liquid in your stomach at the same time, that will cause you to throw most of it up. Like he said in the video, take small sips of water and gatorade, it helped alot. When I tried drinking a ton of orange juice i threw up straight orange juice for 5 mins..Just take it slow
