I also like the 10cc version more. But this is a very interesting interpretation. You guys need to learn how to appreciate when artists experiment with great songs. They are not ruining anything. They are honoring the artists that wrote and first performed the great songs to make them famous. I promise that 10cc are flattered and happy that she made this cover. You have to chill out and grow up. I am a musician, by the way. All musicians will agree with my remarks.

The 624 voices overdubbed painstakingly on the 10cc original gave the track dreamy space and an optimistic feel (its intention).

This version is of course dryer with only space to grieve and is effective in that sense . I don't know who the characters are in the video yet the mix of the visuals and the song is great!
