marilyn manson IS intelligent and a very good person. i listen to his songs and can tell that not a single verse promotes any type of violence or hate. he's not a cult leader and 90 % of people these days do drugs. i personally discourage them but i dont make it a point to hate someone if they do it. people who talk like landshark123 are the real reason things like columbine happen. you judgmental, intolerant ingrate.

It is so sad that the community believes one artist was the primary influence in these childrens lives. It is a pathetic cop-out for the blame to be directed at a Marylin Manson and not at the parents and the school system. These children were failed by both. The pain and desperation that preceded them commiting these horrible crimes were not produced by a few months or even years of listening to a certain artist, but years and years of neglect by parents and school officials.
