democracy is good compared to moracy and dictatorship, wich existed widely long ago. The main idea is that the power is in the hands of the people, and that makes it better for the public. Right now, TRUE democracy is the best thing for humanity. It is still not perfect, though. There are now many ways to decieve the public, and of course, none of us believes, i think, that everyone gets equal treatment in this world where democracy flourishes. It IS a good thing. It just needs work.
