My mom got my dog Penguina at a Swap Meet in Tucson,Az we thought she was a boy but turns out she was a girl Lol

It's scientifically proven that dogs/cats/pets reduce stress levels and make us smile more. They do so much for us and yet we just throw most of them out on the streets. I hope people (including myself) will take more responsibility and help the helpless animals out there.

I love my adopted babies. I have 2 adopted dachshunds that live with me (hershey and nikki). I have a doberman (brandy) that my parents let me adopt before I joined the army. I left Brandy with my grandmother who needed a companion and a guardian. Now through my marriage I have a Rottweiler (Boogie bear) and an adopted chihuahua (Spike). We had to move temporarily and couldnt keep boogie bear (and since spike and she are inseperable) they live with their uncle in pa. Just until June!

This made my cry specialy the last part... the dog named scooby... I had one with the same name and he died on june 2009... I had him for 15 years and I miss him so much it's painful. But I'm happy that there are poeple in this world who still care and take care of those animals. :)

I want a dog too...the one good thing about sweden is that we don't have stray dogs. It's a good thing, 'cause otherwise I would be running around adopting all dogs I could see XD

Sadly enough, I don't have the space where I live, nor the time, to adopt at the moment :(

My parents won't let me bring home a dog either, since they have cats.

My dog was scheduled to be put down the next day and we saved his life. hes so happy now and his name is rosco

My labrador was overdue for her euthanization, but we found her in the nick of time, and her name is Lucky now :)))

@ruston0919 Check out my two dogs. Chichi i got first he is a diabetic dog that no one wanted to give shots to, he was scheduled for the perma sleep so i got him. I was visting shelter to donate some supplies when i saw Cici and she was scheduled to die on Friday. She is so beautiful and she gave me the look so now i have them both.

These Pedigree commercials make me cry. I'm a cat guy now, I have an apt, high floor, no dog, but someday.....I won't trade in my guy here but hope he gets along with a lil puppydog!

well im glad the nashville association got help to find a new facility, you noe, if anyone noes of anyhtign the oshawa humane society is in DESPERATE need of new place as well our building is way to small for the amount of animals we take in and it is constantly needing repairs! i hope someine can help out the oshwawa humane society!
