Stork pulled a Movie. in case you guys don't remember that game, Movie went for a 4 gate goon rush vs Jaedong, surprised him and got away with the win. and that was when Jaedong was actually in top shape too...
unfortunately Sacsri is nowhere near as good as Jaedong, not even a quarter of his skills...
love moletrap and his commentaries but you can see that he missed a trick here --- you can see the korean observer going nuts and highlighting the cancelled stargate over and over again... only when moletrap saw all the extra gateways did he realise what was happening....
at first i was like, "hmmm match below 10 mins, and zvp. poor stork" but some part of me wanted to believe stork would do something crazy to end it early himself and not die to ling run-by or mutas.
@Nostalgamagic Sauron build is when a zerg player takes a lot of bases, economy over tech and sends lings and hydras non-stop over the opponent without micro his units. Usually a protoss player can resist to a 2-3 waves if he has HT but the thing is that, ultimetly the defence will be broken and the swarm will be massive...
noob fiendly shmoob friendly...pls call the natural what it is....a natural xpansion.....if u call an "fe" an fast xpansion that is perfectly fine....but .. nearest xpansion? ... realy?
First time I can remember seeing this build was back in June of last year, Movie vs Jaedong on HBR. I was so surprised to see it, didn't think it would work, but damn if it didn't.
Cheese is pretty much any "all in" rush type strategy and even some consider having proxy tech buildings (higher level buildings outside of your main base) also cheese.
Examples: Building a spawning pool when you have 5 drones (5 pool build) and then building zerglings afterwards
Rushing into the opponents base with a probe and building a pylon and cannons (cannon rush)
Normal games = both players build up armies and their economy, maybe with SOME harassment (attacking of worker units)
Don't go too new friendly. Explain build order terms like 8 racks and 9 pool etc. But don't bother altering terms like natural expansion or cheese, as those are fairly easy to figure out.
Nobody ever explained the term "natural expansion" to me - it's pretty obvious what it means, no? And if you've watched more than 1 or 2 commentaries you'll figure out what "cheese" means, and it's more fun to say than "all-in early game rush" or whatever.
If you want to be newb-friendly the most important thing is to explain the builds - when I was a n00b it took me a while to understand what thngs like "overpool" and "8-racks" meant.
I don't mind you occasionally throwing in what a natural is, and all that stuff, but the most important thing is to explain terms like "cutting probes/scvs", "fake double", "overpool into expand" and so on
also, for the hardcore noobs, it's good to explain what things like "timing attacks" are, or "plus one speedlots", etc
anyway, you rule moletrap, great to hear from you again!
Absolutely any new Starcraft fan now knows that the the natural expo is your closest expo. Every single person who understand Starcraft lingo, at one point, didn't. You just pick it up. Don't worry about simplifying your vocabulary, it makes you sound like an idiot.
Sacsri surprised me with this game actually. He held his own and did pretty well against Stork. Obviously he's no A class pro player just yet, but he's got potential, the way he changed his build on the fly, and chose pretty much his best course of attack. If he had a few moments longer before the goon rush landed, he could have found himself in a much better position defensively. GG.

I think you missed something moletrap.
Look at 4:50, Stork is building a stargate.
Sacsri probably saw this with the overlord that was running away at 5:10 ish.
That's probably why Sacsri built some scourge.
But Stork cancelled his stargate when the overlord had left his base :P
