I usually hate comic movies for their many differences from the comic books that insired them. But that old Batman show still gets me. This crap is f--ked up though.
God the 70's nearly destroyed comics, Comic Code took out everything that was adult and cool in comics. ThankGod for the 80's. Anyone who watches this and thinks this is smart or clever, needs to be informed.

Retired Man is character actor William Schallard. He played Mr Lurie, in the orginal Star Trek episode, "The Trouble With Tribbles". Also, he played Rose's love interest, in the last season of "The Waltons". Finally, he played Gidget's father Russ, in the late 1980's series "The New Gidget".
This is truly the DCU equivalent of the Star Wars Holiday Special. Christopher Reeve and Lynda Carter are lucky their wasn't some fine print in their contracts that required them to do this, though it would have been amazing under any circumstances to see them in costume together with Adam West.
@SpectrumChris Same reason why Batman and Wonder Woman never appeared in "SMALLVILLE". Although owned by Time Warner, DC Comics doesn't allow TV and movie crossovers of characters, that are in their own production. Since Time Warner owns the whole DC Universe, I think it's silly to not override DC's editors.
