Long hair is great but, for example, Rob Halford (lead singer for Judas Priest, metal god, and practical founder of the metal "look" in case you're retarded) is bald along with a shitload of other important metal musicians. The hair is not the only factor of the image of the band and the image is not a factor in the music in any way. So stop bitching.

@JFuzzman I agree. I'm not a big fan of any new or new"ish" death metal bands they sound too much like deathcore bands with that stupid harmonic 'twing' on every chord. I do make exception to Origin, I Chaos and Septic Flesh but so many others sound way too corish. I mean I'm not knocking it, music evolves, I get it, but I prefer the sounds of bands like Old Kreator, Obituary, stuff like that. but its opinion and taste, we all have em.

@Seadevilmusic I completely agree. I like Septic Flesh, Origin and I Chaos too. You also have to think of stuff like old Morbid Angel and Cannibal Corpse. I also really like Blood Bath, Deicide, and a lot of what Opeth did. I'm not going to lie though, I am more into Black Metal bands though, but I really just can't listen to anything "core".
