European court dismisses suit on Swiss minarets --
The European Court of Human Rights dismissed a challenge by Muslim groups to Switzerland's minaret building ban , on Friday, saying that the people filing the lawsuits couldn't claim to be victims.
The ruling's timing coincided with the Muslim day of prayer.
Swiss voters overwhelmingly approved a constitutional ban on minarets, that barred any more construction of the visually offensive mosque towers.

@freeman8128 It's tempting but I think Geert Wilders idea is preferable, that non Muslim countries should stop allowing immigration of Muslims (or anyone that doesn't respect democracy & the laws of the land), allow criticism of any religion (free speech, duh!) & deport any immigrant who is involved with anti-democratic ideologies (such as Islam, Naziism, etc), commits a serious crime (including any hate crimes or any violation of the oath they took when applying for citizenship).

@freeman8128 That is rather harsh. Most western Muslims are nice people. Only a few of them are terrorists. However, I do agree that the Islamisation of the western world is getting out of control. Austria = the country that treats the horrible (on a par with Hitler when it comes to evil) family man Josef Fritzl nicely and the country that says that this anti-Islam woman should be arrested. I know a lot of Austrians disagree with those insane laws but unfortunately they cannot do much about it.

@freeman8128 Well, Islam does have some good points. It forbids usury and discourages alcohol but ultimately I would far rather live under secular law than Sharia law. If Sharia law was enforced on Europe, female rape victims would be stoned to death for adultery.

Of course I don't think every single muslim is a horrible person (I was musilm & I'm a very nice, genuine person - unfortunately the cult I was caught up in was not). I understand that there were many Nazis who were very nice people in private life & never harmed anyone personally - but they were part is an evil & therefore share its guilt: the same applies to muslims.
