He was basically saying 90s music was pussy ass music. It's similar and he makes certain statements like about the american dream, i think he does almost say the same thing, but the point of the bit was entirely different. Bill Hicks...a man who definitely wasn't out of shit....or was he?

Also, Hicks died a couple months before Cobain. But Hicks made several bits about how 'unrock' rock stars of the 90s were compared to the rock stars of the 70s.
