To this day I still can't figure out if Pappy was just an expert at spontaneous lineart, or if the drawing was already down on the page in a very light pencil and he simply traced over it with his marker. STILL AWESOME!!! :)

I used to love Pappy. Gosh it's been atleast twenty years since I've seen this. Between this man and my wonderful artistic sister Carla who passed away in 97 I learned how to draw and how to color. How to use my imagination and really develop a great love for art! I miss these shows. Today, I really feel like my kids are missing out on some great programming. If only they could bring it back!

Im 21 years old and im from syracuse new york were most of the drawings at the end came from i can remeber me and my older brother watching this show faithfully and coming pretty close to his pictures.This show brings back so many memories espesially when his pictures came to life i resently searched for Michael Cariglio the actor who plyed pappy and not only is he not dead he is alive and well and he is actually pretty buff for his age he even has a facebook page check him out!!!
