actually a guy did that, with a safety razor, but he DID notice though, he was cool about it though. look up "shaving with a safety razor" the search result that has the biggest image, usually the first result on the list.

You can shave at home, at the water fountain or even a public restroom. I once shaved in the restroom at the mall.

hey some advice guys, when i shave i have no problem with the face i.e. cheeks, chin, around the nose etc, but i have a right bastard of a time trying to shave around my neck where the hair changes growth. i try shaving to the grain but i still get those red rashes and razor burn.

i do use a gillette fusion with 5 blades, will it be safer to use a razor with 1 or 2 blades to prevent the rashes/razor burns?

@AI2RTIFICIAL I hate to say it, but I had a fusion razor and it cut me like the Quattro or the Sensor 2 blade I use now. So I wouldn't say there is much difference.

I agree, but I don't think you'd have to wax every week. Just once in a while then it becomes much easier to shave because the hairs grow back lighter.

na ony way you can is if you go too quick when its dry OR if you accidently go horizontal with it, it happens. i just go against the grain, and i have no problems as i use witchhazel after it which combats and prevents ingrown hairs.

oh also if you shave your nuts (sometimes girlfriends like that or its just better for personal comfort) be careful not to accidently go horizontal around nuts, they won't bleed bad at alol but stings like a mother fucker. if and when shaving nuts, use dove bar soap with moisterizer or shave soap bar. use cartridge razor with 2 or 3 blade heads.

you don't want to use shaving cream when shaving your nuts or any area other than face. you need something transparent. like plain old soap with moisterizer.

man : advice :::: don't use any of that stuff cream gel trash, no matter what they bark, it's all chems which destroy your skin...i stopped using them and i feel great ::: When you shower, keep the hot water on your face from time to time, when you are about to finish showering, grab your blade "your whiskers should be soft with all the hot water and steam" and then shave slow and FEW strokes, don't listen to this moron, the more strokes, tha more butchering, 2 strokes is enough

I don't agree that the multiple blade cartridge razors give better shaves than a single blade. My experience of 40 years of shaving during which I've used about every kind of shaving device ever in existence is that a double-edge single blade safety razor or a straight razor gives me a closer shave with less irritation.

Single blades rule. Say no to neck burn and pimples. Say yes, to daily shaving. Yes, it increases your shaving routine by about an additional 3 minutes but hey...wake up 3 minutes earlier. You're a big boy now......don't need your mums to pack your lunch and wake you up.

I HATE shaving my neck. With my face, I use the twice-shave method; once with the hair growth and once against and I never seem to cut or irritate it.

But with the neck, like he points out in another video, it gets all red and bumpy. I guess I'll try noticing what direction the hair grows on my neck, but it feels like I've tried everything.
