I was diagnosed with AA about two years ago, but it is not noticeable to other people. They are just patches centered in the lower layers of my hair. Sometimes I wish I could shave it just to get rid of what I am losing right away. I am pretty comfortable with myself as a woman and I'm not very attached to my hair (As a 21 year old).
