you think they could what???? ... lol...best joke i've heard in a long time...you were joking,right? ... gozzoli/betti are the best pair in history,and i'm saying that because ballroom dancing continues to evolve every year and they are simply untouchable now....luca/lorraine wouldn't even get a final right now,trust me ;)

don't be too sure about that! We cannot know before we would see them in direct comparison. Both couples are technically flawless, in the end it's a matter of taste and style who one would prefer. Not even making the final? Now you are joking ;) If you don't see their quality you cannot be an expert in ballroomdancing.

i can see theyr quality of thancing,but the 6 finalists also have a great quality in dancing,and they train very hard,and dancing has improved a lot since luca/lorraine were competing,so i really wouldn't be too sure they would make a world final...;)

You can never be sure in dancesport. But on the newer videos of them you can see that they are not dancing like they did 10 years before, they have developed as well. I think they have the best partnering and a better potential for musical dancing than the other top couples. I think Mirko and Arunas are not easy to beat, but the other world championship finalists are definitely weaker than Luca and Loraine. But that's only me ;)

I just saw their show in Vancouver, and I do think L&L look better than ever. My other favorite dancer is Arunas, who I think has a similar elegant approach. I agree that the Mirko is hard to beat right now...esp. in tango!

Personally, I like L&L and Christoper & Hazel. I think their dancing has more emotion in it. Mirko and Arunas are very good but I think they lack that "emotion" in them. Saw L & L a few weeks ago too and enjoyed it very much.

Luca and Lorraine do not dance to win in dancesport any longer. They dance for fun and to show what could be done with ballroom dancing. Many thinks I believe are good would not pass righ now. Many thinks I believe actually wrong and bad for dance considered to be technically correct.

Personally I believe standard develop correct technique only when it stop to be a couple dance. When top competitions will run in Jack and Jill kind of system real standartd technique will develop.
