the idea that all kurds and turks hate each other is simply not true, they have lived together for centuries, share similar culture, and live side by side peacefully throughout ALL of turkey on a daily basis. there are things that need to be addressed to repay the kurds for the hardships they have been through, but this must come gradually.

The Kurds should know the PKK is a communist terrorist organization.They haven't the power to overthrow the PKK, but they should at least know.

The fact is turkish people can't stand kurdish people and they want to kill them all no matter what age?where abouts? how long it takes them.But it's impossible.
kurdish people are poor people they get killed by Iran/iraq/syria/TURKEY , and they love and need there land/COUNTRY as much as all the other countries.. why shouldn't they speak there language & have ther own land? wat rite the turks have to stop them?

the idea that all kurds and turks hate each other is simply not true, they have lived together for centuries, share similar culture, and live side by side peacefully throughout ALL of turkey on a daily basis. there are things that need to be addressed to repay the kurds for the hardships they have been through, but this must come gradually.

it is pointless to play into the hands of powers that will play one against the other for its own purposes (to sell weapons to turkey and offer it a way out of the current crisis, while "protecting" the kurds in exchange for their resources ; thereby limiting the sovereignty of both nations even further by turning them against one another) the only way the turks and the kurds are getting out of this is to work together.

it is ironic that the PKK attacks may force a turkish response. this would lead kurds to call for US protection, who would do that with the understanding that the oil of north iraq would be in the hands of US corporations. in a sense, the marxist PKK would be fighting to hand over kurdish resources to US capitalist companies!!!

btw... PKK is a marxist group, not islamic; regardless terrorism is not justified. the only way to stop it is to address the problems of the kurds that drove some of them to create the PKK, which was beggining to happen until this new cycle of violence was created by the situation left by the US.

it really does no good to turn this into a turks against kurds or arabs against jews; there are real issues underlying these coflicts that need to be addressed, which does not happen when people turn it into ethnic conflicts. the hate came from somewhere and acting like there is no reason for it by pretending people just hate different ethnicities is counterproductive.

it does not fit to compare israel/palestine with this situation. turkey is currently not an apartheid state that conducts continued death raids on kurds on a daily basis while building settlements in northern iraq (assuming UN recognized borders are valid). this is not to say that the kurds have not been treated badly, the lack of infrastructure in that area of the country is something that needs to continue to be addressed; along with many other issues.

Almost all countries accept PKK as terrorist organization. USA and UN will attack any country relation with Al-Qaeda in the world. However, Turkey have been losing young people in the hand of bloody terrorist supported by iraqi kurdish groups. And world claim that turkey has no right to safe its borders by taking necessary precautions messy country Iraq.
Turkey have been warning them for over 2.5 years to make something.

seems like divide and conquer in another instance. the US has created an iraq that has emboldened and supplied the PKK, the tensions resulting make both parties on the verge of confilct agian. in the background the US gets nice oil contracts for its companies in exchange for its protection of the kurds, while turkey is forced to appease nationalist elements who are pro-US.
