  • dudue you should like totaly open her up on a street

  • This was the greatest video ever. I felt like I was in the passenger seat next to you. Thank you for this. I have recently lost the use of my legs. I use to go camping hunting and fishing all of the time. Now I sit at home in pain all of the time. It felt good to be out in the woods again. Even if it was in a simulated nature. Thanks again. • Hey awesome video just bought an 8x8 wondered what camera you used to film this so crystal clear please let me know Thanks.

  • @landroveriii Canon PowerShot S5IS

  • This is an Awesome Video !!! For many years I traveled the same type terrain ,What you have done here is captured the true capabilities of an Argo as well as how to drive it correctly in that stuff without getting stuck. People without a clue about an argo or those who criticize them because of maintenance issues really don't get it. I would own the cheapest Argo in the shop rather than the most Ballsy 4 wheeler ever built bar none. All I can say is Follow me if ya can.

    Again Great Vid !!!

  • How many miles was this? Incredible adventure! I'm planning on getting either one of thse or a 6x6. I think the 8x8 would be more usueable for hutning and fishing and stability in the water.

  • It's was about 5 miles. I would definitely recommend atleast the 6x6 for a hunting or fishing trip for a little more stability and just to have more room for equipment. Just watch your weight as this obviously makes a huge difference and get the rubber tracks.

  • I pretty much crossed off the quads since they can't float and would stink for hauling stuff. I like the idea of the tracks since they would be good up in camp in Vermont. Some have told me there is much more stability in water with the 8x8 Avenger Versus the 6x6 but they also said the 6x6 is much easier to get around in the woods. I see on Route 6x6 that they bought the rights to the old hustler, found new bodies and drive train and install a 25hp motor with them and $1300 trackset

  • ya, in the open water a 8x8 would be much more stable but neither are really all that good if you're trying to cross a bigger body of water as its hard to keep them straight and is very slow - not too mention if there is any wind involved. We use these year-round up here in northern Canada as they can go through snow that no snowmachine could even think of. As long as you're not in a big hurry these things will take you anywhere

  • Have you ever seen those DoYa Dare Floater kits from that Argo dealer on Route 6x6? They mount 2 Elctric trolling motors, batteries and a joy stick to control them and the whole thing mounts on the back with a cargo rack on top and the supports protect the props. They even rote up out of the way when your moving on land.

  • wow, looks pretty sweet. I know of ppl who have mounted electric outboards on back but never have myself. Looks as if it would work pretty good. I would consider it on the 8x8 but I'm not sure I'd do it on a 6x6. The extra area (and buoyancy) of the 8x8 would make a huge difference here I'm sure. Let me know what/if you get hooked up with something - very curious to see how it works.

  • awsome

  • I used my Canon PowerShot S5IS. I have received numerous compliments on it's picture quality. Editing software is just plain old windows movie maker. Thanks for the comments.

  • That video you posted was VERY sharp and clear. What brand of video camera did you use ,and also what editing soft ware?
